With three wins, a third place overall among the two-driver lineups and a second place in the Avon Tyres Cup, Tommy Maino is satisfied with his results this season, as he wraps-up his maiden Italian GT experience with the Black Bull Swisse Racing Ferrari, alongside Mirko Venturi.

“The 2013 balance for Black Bull Swiss Racing is positive anyway - explains Maino - we see it as an half-full glass. Our three wins and five podium finishes confirm how we constantly ran at the front of the pack. We knew since the weekend’s start that our mission would have been particularly hard, and as it turned out, the Porsche field turned out fully-staffed with the addition of the Tonino Motorsport car.

“After qualifying, with a first and a second position, we were really looking forward to the races, but we did not have a chance to overcome two blown tires and a contact with the #77 Porsche. We want to congratulate Ebimotors as they proved the most consistent team of the season. They scored points in every round. Due to a variety reasons, we couldn’t accomplish the same feature in a couple of occasions, thus losing valuable points.

“I want to thank all the members of our team for their professionalism and the sensational work done on-track and at the shop throughout the season. I’m sure that, with just a tad of luck, things would have ended up our way”.
