Target Racing has been leadiing of a positive start to the season in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe. On the French circuit of Paul Ricard, at Le Castellet, the team from Lugo di Ravenna has written an important page in the championship featuring the Huracans of the Sant’Agata Bolognese maker.
Rookies Patrik Fraboni and Giacomo Pedrini, both sixteen, won in the Pro class in the first heat of the weekend becoming the youngest pair to win a race of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo. Despite the rain, Fraboni and Pedrini also starred in the second race, finishing sixth in their class. The pair therefore closed the weekend at Le Castellet in second place in the provisional standings.
Guido Luchetti also performed very well. In his second season in the series, the Target Racing driver immediately proved among the fastest drivers in the Pro class, obtaining the pole. While he couldn’t capitalize on his start position in the first heat, he made up for it in the second race by obtaining a positive second place.
Raffaele Giannoni did not lose his spark. Upon his return to the Lamborghini Europe Super Trofeo, the expert driver from Milan immediately hit the podium in the Am class in the first heat at the end of an intense recovery after being rammed in the early stages. Giannoni then completed the weekend with a good seventh place in his class in the second race.
The next event, at the end of May, will take place at Monza
