After the series summer break, the GT Italia championship was back at Imola where they had lined-up the last time around in July. On the September 1st weekend, the classic circuit sitting in the Romagna region welcomed Black Bull once again and the team delivered another top-notch result. This time, Mirko Venturi placed his Ferrari 458 on the pole for Race 2 by setting the fastest laptime of the session. On the other hand, due to some performance balancing measures, the BMWs appeared extremely competitive and dominated Race Day. Venturi and Maino did everything they could with a fourth place in Race 1 before capping Race 2 with a second-place finish onto the podium. They also scored some very valuable points for the championship.
