The penultimate round of the McLaren Trophy Europe season, held at the Montmeló circuit, brought another victory to Target Racing. The Lugo di Ravenna-based team, closed out the Catalan weekend with Largim Ali and Kristian Brookes' victory in the second race, preceded by a first heat with all crews in the points.
On Saturday Target Racing's three Artura Trophy Evos finished in the top 10. Patrick Schober and Alessandro Fabi took their McLaren to sixth place, one place ahead of teammates Gregor Jeets and Riccardo Ianniello, who finished seventh. Ali and Brookes finished tenth, having driven a solid race heading into the second heat.
Sunday saw Ali and Brookes convert their strong pace from the weekend into a stunning victory. The Target Racing McLaren immediately moved into the top positions and, despite a five-second penalty for exceeding track limits, maintained a strong pace to secure victory by nearly two seconds over its closest rivals.
Jeets and Ianniello also performed well, finishing the second race in sixth place after a solid performance. For the Estonian-Italian duo, this was another top-of-the-table result, confirming their consistency throughout the weekend. Patrick Schober and Alessandro Fabi, however, fared less well in their second race. Their Artura was involved in a collision in the early stages of the race, which ended their run prematurely.
The Barcelona weekend thus confirmed the competitiveness of Target Racing, capable of securing Ali and Brookes' second victory of the season and consistently placing their McLaren Artura Trophy EVOs among the top positions. The Lugo di Ravenna-based team is now looking ahead to the final round of the season, scheduled for October 16-18 at Portimão, in Portugal, where the titles of the 2026 McLaren Trophy Europe will be decided.
