The penultimate round of the 2012 World Series Renault 3.5 has officially started at the Le Castellet track in Southern France. BVM Target collected a great feedback at the end of the two 75-minute practice session. Making his season debut for Roberto Venieri and his team, Davide Rigon kept improving his pace over the day and ended-up in 11th place: the Italian, who was fielded by Ferrari in the recent F.1 young driver test at Magny-Cours, almost hit the top-10 at debut. Nikolay Martsenko continued to climb his learning curve and scored the 22nd fastest laps at the end of a session focused on set-up.
