WSR 3.5 - Target Racing hits points at the Ring

While it could have been going better for BVM Target at the Nurburgring, the team scored some solid results by scoring points with both drivers, Sergio Canamasas and Daniel Zampieri. The German weekend had started with an off-track exit for the Spaniard in practice, but thanks to the great job done by the squad managed by Roberto Venieri, he successfully made to session 2. Qualifying did not reflect the team's expectations, with Canamasas and Zampieri ending up respectively in 13th and 21st. On a rain-conditioned race day though, the two were able to strike back and recover up to 6th and 8th place. Canamasas eventually lost 10 seconds then due to a track limits penalty, promoting Zampieri to 7th. In qualifying 2, run with full-wet conditions, Zampieri was very consistent in 9th, while Canamasas took 21st place. Under Race 2's checkered flag, the Italian ended up in 9th, followed by Canamasas, 2 spots back.
