BVM Target took the best out of the Imola round of the Italian F.3 Championship, as the team brought on-track by Roberto Venieri and Giuseppe Mazzotti clinched first and second place in standings. Daniel Zampieri is still leading with 127 points, while Marco Zipoli is now trailing him by 8 points thanks to a spectacular Race 2 win. Zampieri suffered from a troubled qualification bringing him to the toughest weekend so far.
With a good time choice and a great tactical sense, Daniel managed to score great points by ending up in 7th on Race 1 and n 4th on Race 2. Zipoli, who ended up 5th in Qualifying, took the 6th spot on Race 1 before cruising to victory on the next day. BVM Target also fielded a third Fiat-Powered Dallara for Nicolò Piancastelli. The latest addition to the team took 19th in Qualifying while trying to get the nod of the car after quite some time. He then progressively improved, taking 17th on Race 1 and 14th on Race 2 with some really interesting laptimes.
