There are great news coming for Target Racing. The team, headquartered in Lugo di Ravenna, will enter Porsche manufacturer competition by joining the Italian Carrera Cup series starting from its opening 2022 weekend at Imola. Target will provide assistance to Centri Porsche di Roma, and will field two Porsche 911 GT3 CUP - 992 cars with a cyber python livery for Francesco Maria Fenici, who will race in the Michelin Cup, and Keagan Masters, a 22-year-old South African racing in the Pro class.

Fenici, a 32-year-old Italian, already impressed in the Porsche Carrera Cup and made additional experience in the Italian Gran Turismo championships. On the other hand, Masters will be at his first competitive experience in Italy. He had made his European debut in 2017, competing in the German Audi TT Cup championship.

After the Imola event, the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia championship will continue on the 5th of June weekend in Misano. The pack will then head to Mugello (July 16th/17th), Vallelunga (September 17th/18th), Monza (October 8th/9th), and finally again at Mugello for the series finale on October 22nd/23rd.
