The 2026 season of Target Racing kicks off in Imola. On the track in Romagna on the weekend of 26 April, Roberto Venieri's team will compete in the Italian GT Sprint Championship with three cars. Target Racing will field a McLaren Artura Trophy Evo for Gregor Jeets, a Ferrari 296 GT3 for Huilin Han, and a Ferrari Challenge 296 for Pierluigi Alessandri.
Jeets, a 25-year-old Estonian driver from Tartu, began competing in track racing last year in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe championship. He previously competed successfully in rallies, including World and European Championship rounds, winning the Latvian championship in 2022. With Target, Jeets will drive the McLaren Artura Trophy Evo in the GT Cup Pro Am 2nd division.
Meanwhile, Han is continuing his motorsport career with Target, after racing with the squad in the 2025 Italian GT Sprint Championship, where he was a strong contender in the AM category, finishing second. This season, the 42-year-old from Beijing will look to repeat his feat in the AM class, chasing the title behind the wheel of the Ferrari 296 GT3.
Alessandri is a welcome return to the Target Racing family. A highly experienced GT driver, born in Savignano sul Rubicone, Romagna, in 1965, he will drive the Ferrari 296 Challenge in the GT Cup Pro Am Division 1 category.
