Target Racing on the podium Zandvoort

Target Racing experienced another extremely positive performance in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo, the brand's single-make racing championship, which went on track for round 3 of 2021 at Circuit Park Zandvoort in the Netherlands. Despite the uncertain weather condition and the downpours that hit the historic Dutch venue, qualifying sessions and the races were dry. Kikko Galbiati and Miguel Ramos impressed since the debut of qualifying, making their first of the season with a car prepared by the Italian outfit. The pairing then went on to secure a debut Pro-Am win. Since Ramos couldn't run on Sunday, Galbiati, who was starting fifth overall and second in class, was forced to make a drive-through in the opening stages. The Italian then fought back and reclaimed a potential podium, until he was blamelessly involved in contact with another driver. A similar incident happened to Andrea Cola, who was sitting third in Pro-Am in race 1. In race 2, the Italian and Dimitri Gvazava were then forced to retire by a broken transmission, which deprived them of a very possible podium finish. The feature was accomplished by the Pro class line-up of Van Berlo and Raul Guzman. After finishing fifth in race 2, the combination brought home third in race 2. The next round for the series will be on July 30th and 31st in the frame of the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.
