Russian racer Sergey Sirotkin will be joining BVM Target from the upcoming round 5 of the World Series Renault 3.5 at Moscow Raceway. He will be replacing Giovanni Venturini, who decided to step down from his ride. Sirotkin will become the youngest driver to have ever entered a World Series round at the age of 16 (he was born on August the 25th 1995). The young racer, born in Moscow, is currently driving in the AutoGP and Italian F.3 championships after having been a major star in the 2011 Formula Abarth series.
Supported by Lukoil, Sirotkin is one of the most promising young drivers of the international motorsports panorama. BVM Target is proud to give him a chance to race in the top developmental championship and feeding series for Formula 1, and to do it in front of his home crowd. For the occasion, the Italian-based squad's effort will be all-Russian. Sirotkin will be partnering team's regular Nikolay Martsenko.
