With four races held so far, BVM Target can already count on three podium finishes. At the fascinating Belgian venue of Spa-Francorchamps, hosting the third round of the World Series by Renault 3.5, Roberto Venieri and his team took a valuable 10th-place finish with Nikolay Martsenko in Race 1. The Russian racer made it to a spectacular comeback. After having qualified in 17th and being forced to do it all again from the back due to an early contact, he fought back lap by lap, also thanks to the help of a safety-car condition.
Nikolay took full advantage of a fast and reliable car and performed great in the many ongoing battles of race day. During the last lap, he attacked Alexander Rossi and claimed an incredibly positive 10th place finish. His team-mate Venturini faced some tough times, as he started in 21st after a spin in qualifying. In the end he took the 16th place after a tough start and a chicane cut due to a lapped car, while he was in front of his team-mate. Until now, BVM Target collected a 5th place with Martsenko in Race 1 at Alcaniz, a 9th place with Venturini at the Spanish venue and the 10th place of Spa-Francorchamps.
