DR Formula started in a great way their adventure in the Italian Formula 4 Championship. At the Misano Adriatico circuit, which hosted the first round of 2016 season, the team managed by Danilo Rossi obtained three podium places with Raul Guzman. The young Mexican has been one of the best contenders of the weekend, especially with the win in race three contested by the A and C groups. Guzman recovered from the seventh spot on the grid to take the lead with a brave move during the 12th lap.

Together with the second position taken on Saturday's morning race one, Guzman could line up from the third spot in the final race, the most important in schedule. The DR Formula driver took a very good third place, becoming the only contender to step on the podium in every manche contested. Guzman stands now second in the championship with 58 points.

DR Formula gave also the chance to Artem Petrov to make his debut in the Italian series. He completed race one and race three, a fundamental step to gain experience, but he has been unlucky in the final race, with a retirement for being hit by a rival.

Next round for the Italian F4 Championship is at Adria on the 7th and 8th of May weekend.
