BVM Target was off to a great start in the first round of the Italian Formula 3 Championship. Cesar Ramos, back from a season in the Formula 3 Euro Series, stayed among the leading pack all the time at Misano. Ramos was the only driver to hit the podium twice, as he cruised to a double third place and to 4th place in standings.
Although the two races have been positive, things for the Brazilian could have gone even better without some slower cars in front during qualifying. BVM Target also brought to top Kevin Giovesi, who hit third place during qualifications. Giovesi ended up as the best rookie, and proved to be able to fight for a top spot. As he ended up Race 1 and Race 2 respectively in 6th and 10th, he stands in 8th place in standings.
Giuseppe Mazzotti (BVM-Target, Team Manager):
"We started the 2010 season in the right way. Ramos ended up on the podium twice, and is standing in the top-5 in standings, while Giovesi proved strong since Qualifying. We're really happy for his lead in the rookies trophy."
