The results and the pace of BVM Target improved at Magione, as the F.3 Italia Series moved from the opening round at Mugello to the slow Umbria racetrack. Salvatore Cicatelli had a great opening as he topped the first practice session, before cruising to a safe Row 2 spot. He lapped in 1:07.278, while team-mate Stamitis Katsimis scored the 7th fastest tim in 1:07.614.

On race 1, things didn't go as expected for Katsimis, while Cicatelli lost positions at the start and ended up in 6th at lap 1. The Greek driver went off into the barriers, forcing the Safety-Car to come in. At the re-start, Cicatelli tried to move on his 2007 rival Marco Zipoli but had to wound up in 6th. Race 2 offered the team some improvements. A slow start by Cicatelli and a contact between Dalle Stelle and Castellacci, kept the attention high. At the re-start, Cicatelli was passed by Nava and surrendered to 4th, without finalizing his attempt to fight back and topping Katsimis to round the top-5.
