BVM Target scored the first points of the 2008 season at Mugello. In the debut race of the renewed Italian F.3 Championship, both team's drivers ended up the two races in the top-10, scoring three points each. In qualifying, Salvatore Cicatelli took 8th place after experiencing set-up issues, while Katsatis Samatis, back to open-wheel racing after a 4-year break, ended up in an excellent 11th place. Samatis recovered to 7th place, ending the race in front of Cicatelli, while the Italian reversed the situation on Race 2.
