Black Bull was fully-staffed on Sunday, May 4th at the Nurburgring. With the arrival of Mirko Venturi, who took part in the FIA WEC championship and scored a brilliant win in the GTE AM Class, Joel Camathias was rejoined by his team-mate, who shared with him the Black Bull Ferrari 458 Italia. Venturi lined-up for Qualifying 2 without suffering from any kind of tiredness from the Belgian run. As he made his way on-track, he clocked the 4th fastest mark, good enough for a spot in Row 2.
At the start of Race 2, Venturi got third place and then pulled a move on Roman Mavlanov on lap 11 to take the second position. Out front, it was the Corvette of Soulet-Catsburg that already won the opening race to lead. At the half-race pit-stop, Camathias got into the cat at the pit-stop. The Swissman held the second position until he had to held to Daniel Zampieri and then to Andrea Montermini. At the last lap, while fighting for second place, Camathias was rear-ended by Miguel Ramos and ended up spinning. Despite the hit receive, he was able to salvage a 5th place not without some disappointment.
