Johnny Cecotto Jr, the young italian-venezuelan driver,son of motorsport's legend Johnny Cecotto, will drive the SLC R1-006 fielded by Target Racing in the ninth round of the F3 Recaro Cup. This decision was firmly encouraged by Super Light Cars that, together with Target Racing, wants to expand its talent-scouting activities. The team choose Johnny Cecotto Jr, who showed both talent and potential, and could be an interesting choice for 2007. Assen will be a great test for Johnny: he's very motivated and happy to test the car and the last aero package. Cecotto won last race in Assen, giving to Massimo Pollini's team Ombra the first success in German F3. After a long karting experience, he debuted in Italy in 2004, scoring a fourth, a sixth and a ninth place. Last year, the Formula BMW in Germany led to the participation in the italian F.Renault.
