Target Racing to enter 24 Hours of Spa race fielding a Huracan GT3 for Delhez, Debs, Costantini, Di Folco

Target Racing is set for the new thrilling challenge of the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, held on the seven-kilometer fascinating circuit, during the 70th edition of the Belgian race scheduled for the last weekend of this month, 28th/29th July.  The squad led by Roberto Venieri will field a car for a brand-new crew, aiming to the AM class top spot. Three gentlemen drivers will share the duties at the wheel of a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 entered by the Italian team.  One of them is the local racer Bernard Delhez, who has several Blancpain GT Series Endurance participations under his belt and already entered six times the Ardenne's race, including the last year editon in which he finished 28th over 63 entries with another Sant'Agata Bolognese's car. Delhez career extends to European Le Mans Series, Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe and Mégane Trophy Championship.

 To join him will be Frenchman Sylvain Debs, a former motocross rider who switched from two to four wheels, with an important experience in single-seaters, GT4 and Blancpain GT as well as a 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps participation in 2016. Stefano Costantini and Alberto Di Folco - already frontrunners this year in the International GT Open for Target Racing - complete the four-man team. Costantini, who has several years of experience in various GT championships, already raced the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps in 2016. Different situation for the only Silver driver Di Folco, making his debut in the Belgian Marathon. The 22-year-old Rome-based racer, who claimed the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe PRO-AM crown in 2014, considers the Spa-Francorchamps track as one of his favourite, having scored there a victory and a second place in 2015 one-make series powered by Huracáns.

The 2018 edition of the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps boasts of a 68-strong entry list, with 13 automotive brands. Action gets underway with the Bronze test on Tuesday, 24th July. Free practices are scheduled for Thursday, followed by pre-qualifying, qualifying and the night qualifying sessions. The Super Pole will be contested on Friday, while the race will start on Saturday, 28th July, at 4,30 pm, streamed live at the blancpain-gt-series.com website.
