Target Racing aims for podium finish as International GT Open heads to Silverstone

After a two-month long break, the International GT Open will be back on track this coming weekend, 1st/2nd September, as Silverstone Grand Prix circuit hosts the fifth out of seven rounds of the 2018 season. At the British venue, Target Racing will field a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 car in the OPPO livery for regular duo Stefano Costantini and Alberto Di Folco, having great expectations. The Italian pair aims to keep the momentum high, after having claimed a sensational second place in the AM class at the most recent 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps - sharing the duties with Sylvain Debs and Bernard Delhez - that was the team's debut in the Belgian Marathon. Finishing fourth in the PRO-AM class at Le Castellet and Spa-Francorchamps International GT Open rounds, Costantini and Di Folco are now eyeing their first podium finish and an overall result. Furthermore, both Costantini and Di Folco know the Northamptonshire 5.9-kilometer circuit - one of the most technical in Europe - having raced there several times. Following a pair of free practice sessions on Friday, qualifying for the weekend’s race one will get underway on Saturday at 10.25 (local time). The 70-minute race one will begin at 15.15 (local time) with qualifying and 60-minute race two following on Sunday, at 9.40 and 13.45 (local time) respectively. Both the races will be streamed live online at the www.gtopen.net official website.
