BVM Target Racing was back on-track with two cars in the penultimate round of the Italian Formula 3 Championship, held on Sepember 27, 28 at Adria. Regular driver Salvatore Cicatelli was joined for the occasion, on one of the team's FPT-powered Dallaras, by former F.3000 Champion Giacomo Ricci. The Ravenna-based team brought home some valuable points, allowing Cictelli to bolden retain third place in standings.
In qualifying Ricci clocked the fourth fastest time for Race 1, two spots in front of Cicatelli, while they joined on row three for Sunday's heat. Unfortunately, Cicatelli was immediately forced to stop on Race 1 by a an off-track and a contact with Cicognani, resulting in the deployment of the safety-car. Ricci kept his starting position until the end while Cicatelli saved the day in 12th. He then clinched 5th on Race 2, while Ricci was hit from behind by Nava, later penalized for the move.
