Raton Racing by Target announces its driver line-ups

Raton Racing by Target, who confirmed their presence in the International GT Open for the third year in a row, fielding this year two Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evos, have announced a prominent line-up and the continued support of OPPO. Alternating behind the wheel of one of the cars built at Sant’Agata Bolognese will be Liang Jatong and Raffaele Giammaria, both at their first appearance with the colors of Raton Racing by Target. Giammaria (41), now a veteran of the GT and the Italian GT champion in 22014, in the last two seasons has been a protagonist with the Lamborghini in different championships, including the GT Open itself. The 26-year-old Chinese Jatong graduated into GT3 racing last year as the 2017 Pro-Am champion of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe.

Another Pro-Am champion of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe has also been confirmed, Alberto Di Folco, 23, who was part of the team led by Roberto Venieri last year. Di Folco will be joined on the second Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo by the Bronze driver Christoph Lenz, forming up a Pro-Am combination. The Swiss, 39, already took part in two events of the International GT Open with Target Racing last year and has long experience in Endurance races.

Giorgio Sanna, Head of Motorsport Lamborghini, commented: "We are happy to continue working with a professional team like Raton Racing By Target. Customer racing represents the true spirit of the GT races, as well as an exceptional training ground for growing the drivers of our GT3 Junior Driver program like Alberto and Liang .”

"I am excited to announce our presence in the championship with two leading crews and the new Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo. I believe we have all the ingredients to best face this new challenge,"added team owner Roberto Tanca.
