A positive weekend for Target Racing at Spa-Francorchamps. In the third round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europa, the team from Ravenna climbed onto the podium in the Pro class in both races held on the iconic Belgian track. In the first heat, it was the turn of the young pair Patrik Fraboni and Giacomo Pedrini to conquer third place. Both sixteen-year-old, the drivers proved to be extremely consistent and fast, having  scored pints in all the races of the championship held so far.

Starting from sixth place, after a qualifying session conditioned by the wet and slippery asphalt, Fraboni was the protagonist of a solid stint in the first race. Having taken over the wheel of the Huracán Super Trofeo Evo2, it was then up to Pedrini to finsh the job. The driver from Cesena made two overtaking moves that allowed him to cross the finish line in third place. The second heat was less generous, with Fraboni involved in a contact in the final laps that caused him to slip to sixth place in the class. Nonetheless, the Target Racing duo confirmed their third place in the Pro class standings.

Guido Luchetti was also among the protagonists of the Belgian weekend of the Sant’Agata Bolognese series. Author of a good recovery from the thirteenth place on the grid, the other representative of the team led by Roberto Venieri was touched in the final stages of the first heat, causing him to spin. Despite this, Luchetti managed to finish seventh in the class. The 20-year-old Pistoia-born made up for it in the second race, finishing fourth overall and on the podium in Pro. With this result, Luchetti left Spa in fifth place in the class. The next appointment, at the end of August, will take place on the iconic German track of the Nürburgring.
