Morricone grabs rookie podium in Monza F4 races

After a good start of the weekend in Monza, claiming the 12th overall and the fifth place among Rookies on Saturday's race one, Edoardo Morricone took his maiden class podium. Making his return to the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth after he missed the Paul Ricard round, the DR Formula's racer was one of the front runners in the third round of the national series, finishing seventh overall and the claiming the second place of the Rookie class in race two, thanks to a perfect start and a good pace that let him to survive three safety car periods. Not the same was in race three, as Morricone stopped after two laps due to a contact. His team mate Laszlo Toth experienced a difficult wewkend. The Hungarian driver was involved in an accident in race one and wasn't able to complete only one lap. The same was in race two and race three, when he was hit by another car after going with two tires on the grass, stopping on seventh of the 14 laps.
