The renowned Imola circuit was the home of the third round of the F.4 Italia Championship, and Malta Racing lined up at the Italian venue with three cars for Raul Guzman Marchina, Kevin Kanayet and Yan Leon Shlom. Although qualifying didn't bring positive news for the team, Roberto Venieri and his staff were able to turn tables. in Race 1, Guzman, Shlom and Kanayet ended up in 11th, 12th and 13th position, delivering a solid performance all around.

In Race 2, which was marred by safety car situation and crashes, Shlom kept his nose clean and captured a valuable 6th place. Guzman settled for 11th, also suffering from a contact that eventually led Kanayet to retire. Race 3 was interrupted due to a crash. Guzman was best performer for Malta Racing in 12th while Kanayet ended up 19th and Shlom faced an early retirement.
