Difficult but growing weekend for DR Formula’s Morricone

As the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth entered the second part of the season, DR Formula team is set for the last two rounds scheduled after the Summer break in Vallelunga and Mugello. Just a few days ago, 28th/29th July, the squad led by Danilo Rossi had a busy weekend in Imola, when Edoardo Morricone encountered a difficult qualifying due to the several yellow flags. Starting from the eight row in race one, the Italian racer was stopped in the first lap by an incident. In race two Morricone started from the 17th place. Eventually he recovered well and finished 14th after fighting for a number of laps with Umberto Laganella. In race three the DR Formula's driver started for the 21st place to claim P15. In race two and three he finished sixth of the Rookies scoring some points and taking the seventh place of the class. The next round - the sixth out of seven - will be held in Vallelunga on 15th/16th September.
